Using KACE 2000 OR K2000 To deploy unattend installs of Adobe

I am looking to create a image with the K2000 that will allow me to do unattended installs of Adobe Flash, shockwave and air, but so far I found things for the older versions that don't current work. I have a adobe license to download the package to delpoy I don't know the unattended script to install it.

  • Did you mean to say K1000? Seems odd to deploy a new system (K2000) and follow it up with uninstalls. If your issue is really determining the silent uninstall commands for these applications you may want to update the title of your question as such would not be a problem limited to people with knowledge or interest of KACE. - bkelly 10 years ago
  • Could you post the commands you are using in your PostInstall tasks? Perhaps we can help you troubleshoot those? - andrew_lubchansky 10 years ago
  • I aopologize I didn't mean to do uninstall tasks.. I am creating a new image with this as a post install task, but I am going to try the answer below and see how that works.

    Eventually I will use it in the K1000, but I my focus is a new image so the tech stops editing GPO locally on the box and ghosting computers that way so I can actually manage them from AD - LS-NetTech1 10 years ago

    Adobe Reader:

    AdbeRdr11002_en_US.exe /sAll /rs /l /msi /qb- /norestart EULA_ACCEPT=YES REMOVE_PREVIOUS=YES DISABLE_ARM_SERVICE_INSTALL=1

    Adobe Shockwave;
    msiexec /i sw_lic_full_installer.msi TRANSFORMS=shockwave.mst /qn

    Adobe Air:
    "Adobe AIR Installer.exe" -silent -desktopShortcut -programMenu fms_explorer.air

    Adobe Flash

Use these run parameters/switches for silent installs:

Flash (.exe):
/install

Shockwave:
/S

Air:
-silent
