Vbscript on x64 not working

Hi,

Can anyone please help me to resolve somehing. I have script which runs installation after that it adds some registiries but on Windows 7 x64 it adds those registries under 32 bit registry table (Wow6432 Node) but not x64. Cannot figure out why that.

What happens if you type the full path to cscript.exe in the syswow64 folder?
Like:
c:\windows\syswow64\cscript.exe yourscript.vbs

try using hklm64 instead of hklm as the prefix

    • are you calling the 32 or 64 bit version of reg.exe - SMal.tmcc 10 years ago
  • Installer/Process that you are using is of 32 bit , hence it is writing under Wow6432. - rock_star 10 years ago
