What is the command line parameter to silently install HP drivers on a HP PC?

What is the command line parameter to silently install HP drivers on a HP PC...specifically I am trying to do it via LANDESK but I don't think that matters.

Thanks,

Brian

Unpack HP driver package. Find and open .cva-file by text editor. Find section [Silent installation instructions].

That is it.

It may vary from package to package, but often you can either run it from command line with /? or -? switches to get a list of supported switches. Without knowing which driver and download link was used I can't say with certainty what would work correctly.

Note that depending on which driver tool/repository you pulled it from, it may require unpacking/unzipping before installation.

Sometimes commonly used switches will simply "do the trick". See http://www.itninja.com/blog/tag/silent-install-commands for loads of examples that are usually quite useful.
