What means(Handshake Failed) in Patch Tasks? help

I try to detect and deploy a computer in patch schedule
, but I have an error that means 
error (Handshake Failed)Patched: 0, Not Patched: 0, Detect Failures: 0 , Deploy Failures: 0

  • That happens sometimes if there is an DNS issue. I would make sure that the machines can resolve the address of the kbox.

  • handshake failed simply means that not all files the patching engine needs, are downloaded to the client. - Nico_K 8 years ago
  • You can have this error if the patch signatures are still updating on the K1000 so verify that at the time that the patch job runs the K1000 is not updating the patch signatures.
