It is recommended that you use Windows 95b or 98 system files on network boot disks due to their improved memory management. Windows 95b/98 system files allow the use of the memory management files (HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE) that are often required in order to have sufficient memory available to run DOS level application (such as imaging software) after loading, and connecting to, the network.
