Windows 10 Pro to Enterprise Upgrade not reported

Our laptops are hybrid joined and imaged with a Windows 10 Professional license. Enterprise is applied by the user entitlement from their M365 E5 license. In most cases this is fine, but about a dozen laptops are still reporting "Microsoft Windows 10 Pro x64" in the OS name field. I've verified in 3 places that the Enterprise license is applied to these machines: 'winver' in the GUI, the OperatingSystem property in AD, and a custom inventory rule: ShellCommandTextReturn(powershell.exe -NoLogo -NonInteractive -NoProfile -Command "(Get-WindowsEdition -Online).edition"). This returns Professional or Enterprise. A smart label shows me all PCs with Pro in the OS Name and Enterprise in this custom field.

In all the machines with the correct OS name, this is in the history:

Discovered Application Windows 10 Pro (APP1281429) - No longer detected in Inventory Reported by Agent

Discovered Application Windows 10 Enterprise (APP1281428) - Detected in Inventory Reported by Agent

But in the affected machines, Windows 10 Pro (APP1281429) is still shown in the Discovered Software section. runkbot 4 0 and a reboot don't fix it. The Software Catalog version numbers are identical for Pro and Enterprise: 10.0.19041.2965 (WinBuild.160101.0800). I have no idea how to start troubleshooting this. Very grateful for any suggestions.
