Zenworks ZCM to KACE Solutions Anyone made the jump?

Similar to another post, but we are NOT interested in SCCM.

I am interested in feedback from anyone who has made the jump from Zenworks 7 or ZCM 10 to the Kace solutions. We currently use imaging with add-on's, remote control, inventory, app deployment, patch mgmt, and plan to use ZAV and Enpoint Security within a year or so. Bandwith throttling is also a must as we have some slow WAN links. There is just 1.5 of me for managing about 800 pcs, 300 laptops, and 100 kiosks and about 50 applications + 7 locations.

Our concerns are that while our systems have pretty much been bulletproof and stable beyond belief, we need to rollout Windows 7 and Zenworks 7 doesn't support it. While we love ZENworks, it seems Novell still has no idea how to sell anything and their forums have fewer and fewer users on them. I have heard good things about Kace and was just wondering if there were any folks who have in-depth experience with both that wouldn't mind sharing their take on the 2 products.

Thanks,

Zenworks911

We just switched from ZCM 10 to Kace, so far its been working out much better. ZCM 10 was bust, we worked with Novell all the way up to version 10.3 and had huge problems with the agent.

We switched from ZW 7 last year. We have both a KBox1000 and a KBox2000 series servers for imaging, inventory and provisioning. The learning curve for basic functionality of the KACE products is not remotely as steep as ZW. Tech support has been great - both on the phone and via forums. I have finally achieved hardware independent imaging, even on HPs and white boxes. I was so happy with the purchase that I gave a presentation about the implementation at a state education technology conference. [:)]
