Note
1. Make sure the Autodesk Network Installation Wizard is installed & patch is applied.

2. Download & extract the .msp from SP1a

3. Copy the contents of the CD locally (ive had issues *sometimes* with the ANWI not working properly off cd), start the Autodesk Network Installation Wizard, give it the path to the ACLT.MSI, define your administrative image location, & define the .msp for the service pack.

4. Define if this is a new (create) or old (modify) deployment & name the profile, in this instance were using new.

5. Make sure the checkbox for "client installations will be run silent mode" is checked.

6. Define your installation style (full/custom/etc)

7. Feed it the serial number

8. Register your Autodesk product, note the number & where it saves the registration info

9. You can run the install via the deploy.exe "profile", which itself runs from deploy.ini, or just use the info in the deploy.ini & run the install directly from that. It is supposed to autoregister, but I dont know how to get it to do so with the provided eRegData.

Command Line
In case you had trouble finding it in the docs, to extract the MSP file from the downloaded service pack, here's the command line:

V086_V124_ACAD_UNL.EXE /e "drive:\full\path_to\name_your_patch.msp"

Yes, you're assigning your MSP file a name, and it won't take the command line any other way. Go figure!

Note
If you get the error message "The file you specified is not a valid Red Deer service pack. Please specify a valid file" while trying to integrate a service pack through the Autodesk Network Installation Wizard, you have downloaded the wrong service pack.

The service packs for each version of AutoCAD 2004 are NOT interchangable - eg. the AutoCAD 2004 SP1a will NOT work on AutoCAD LT 2004.
