1. MSI will not install with out the setup launcher
2. The MSI DOES NOT add the shortcuts. I believe that _setup.exe does.
3. The msi installs a 3rd party application, (internet stamps.com) You can remove that “feature” from the command line so it does not install with peachtree. (REMOVE=Stamps)

Here is the command line I used to silently Install peachtree: -- _setup.exe /S /v"/qn REMOVE=Stamps"

Note

I was successful in packaging peachtree using AdminStudio 6.0 and a clean VMWare environment. First I had to convert the scripted MSI to a Basic MSI using the conversion wizard in the repackager application. I used the Installation Monitoring option to perform the install. When it was complete I used the tuner to tweak it a bit and then using repackager I built a single MSI that contained the entire installation. Note that this does not include Crystal reports (still working on it), or FAS. I packaged FAS seperately.
