Command Line

I achieved silent installation of FTR Player 5.6.2.0 on Windows 7 x86/64 via using InstallShield recording via the below commands.

1. Record the choices in the interface via running: (change for desired location of your .iss file)

setup.exe /r /f1C:\Install.iss

2. Once install is completed, copy the .iss file to the same location as the setup .exe
3. To install using the recorded options run: (change for location of your .iss file recorded in step 1)

setup.exe /s /f1C:\Install.iss

Not sure if others have had strange behavior with the installer, on both my 32 & 64 bit virtual machines I'm testing this install on, the FTR Player installation (one of the many msiexec.exe instances) seems to hang for some time using a consistent 50% of the CPU but it does eventually complete. I'm guessing it's one of the prerequisites slowing things down, you could always pre-install those if the install takes too long for you.
