Note

This package does some runtime configurations where it takes the reference of the machine name. One particular shortcut runs a batch file which in turn displays the machine name on the command prompt(this batch file is used to start a service). In this batch file there is no reference to the machine name and neither is there any reference to it in my MSI. As far as I have researched the machine name is present only in the some 2000 XML files that are put by the application.

Note
Contrary to what is stated in the title, this is NOT a native MSI package, but a Java-based setup wrapped in an InstallShield setup.exe. The only MSI-based parts are two included prerequisites from M$: .NET Framework 2.0 and the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable...

By the way, the .NET 2.0 redistributable included with this setup is older than the version that was already installed on my system. And what's more, setup didn't detect my .NET 2.0 installation. Rather sloppy, but that's the way I know Oracle when it comes to Windows clients...
