Edit Custom View of Helpdesk Tickets

Hi all,

I have created a few custom views in our HD, but can't seem to find a way to edit/delete any of them? Can this be done? If so, how?

Thanks

Answer Summary:
If you switch the view by filter to the custom view that you want to edit/delete and then click on Custom View, it auto fills the fields with the defined filter settings. It also makes the delete view button available.

I haven't found a way to edit a view and I don't believe there is a way to do so, but here's a way to delete.

Assuming K1000 version 5.3.53053 (might work in others), go to the helpdesk and click on Custom View.

From here, click into the box for Filter Name and type the name of the custom view that you want to delete.

For example, I had one named "view1". Type that in and a "Delete View" button appears:

  • Awesome, thanks for the help! It would be nice to be able to edit them, but at least this was we won't end up with 50 views where 45 are old versions of what we actually want. Although, this makes me wonder what other goodies are hidden behind special events... - horstj 11 years ago

I actually just found out that if you switch the current view to the custom view that you want to edit/delete and then click on Custom View, it auto fills the fields with the defined filter settings. It also makes the delete view button available.
