I like to choose a mac with a older version of OS X and download the new version to it from the app store.  just prior to doing the upgrade I copy the osx.app file to the desktop of that mac.  Let the machine update to the new os version.  download http://liondiskmaker.com/ and create a bootable usb device and make sure it works.  Go to the kbox and download kace media manager to it.   http://ikbox.acme.com/media_manager

open MM on the mac and use the usb as the upload source for the MM

it should show in the library as source media

it should also show under boot envs

go the the maint page and edit, choose the proper boot from the drop down and save the change

if are using any RSAs for mac deployments on other subnets resync them also by clicking on save and sync at the bottom.
