INI file - value - maximum characters

quick question.. what is the maximum number of characters permissible for the 'value' field in inifile table?[&:]

The value field normally take 255 characters maximum as default. If you need to have values with more characters than this you can either :
1) Forget using the inifile table altogether and just import the ini file into your package as a regular file - you lose some flexibility this way if you were hoping to substitute properties in place of values within the table, but if not, this is the simplest method.
2) Alter the schema of the inifile table, by first exporting the inifile table to a .idt file and then modifying the limit on the value by opening the idt file in notepad and amending the value s255 to be, say, s511. Then reimport the table into your package.
