KPE 64 network driver

I have a Boxxtech machine with Realtek RTL8111b/8111c v2.12 dual network cards. I am unable to get it to boot to KPE 64 in order to install Win 7 64. I've tried the Realtek drivers for Win 7 64, Vista 64 and finally XP 64. The XP 64 driver is the only one that did not throw an error, I assume the KPE 64 environment is XP 64? Anyway, it is stuck on "Please wait..." and will not boot into KPE. Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks (yes, I re-cached KPE 64 drivers each time)

Marc,

I would suggest upgrading to KBE. This can be found in the 3.2.XXXXX versions of the K2000. There are a lot more drivers than in KPE and the drivers are all windows 7 based so they should be easy to find on vendor sites.

I can find files for KPE 3.0, KPE 64 3.0, and KBE Driver pack on KACE support, but no documentation on how to perform this upgrade.

Mark,

The update is on the Kace website, just login to support, click on downloads and scroll down to the kbox 2000, you will see the server patch file for 3.2. Download this *.bin file and do a manual update from KBox Settings and Maintenance>Server Maintenance. Once this is done, you can click on Home>Guided Tour>Setup and follow the steps of making a KBE. Strongly suggest you add the KBE driver pack after updating, before making the KBE.
