Migrate 2000 Professional Workstation SNMP
I am building a Linux box to do SNMP monitoring. With an Intranet web site charting and graphing data. To help track the machines in the building I would like to deploy the SNMP component of Windows 2000. What si the best\easiest way to push SNMP to the workstations? I am open-source friendly.

Mapped S:\ to a public network shared drive
Mapped H:\ to users Home drive (if granted one)

Have you looked at the sysocmgr.exe tool? I believe this should do the trick for you. Read a bit about it here.

Looks good, I can put that into my deployment batch files that installs a "package" only once when the user logs in. As each user logs in they will end up installing the SNMP. I can't tell though if I need to do a run as, those users do not have administrator access on the local machine.

Security is very likely to be a problem in your scenario. You may have better luck utilizing the scheduler service or employing some other third party tool to perform the task on the user's behalf. A logon script is a bit limited in this respect. You could look at SU.EXE or other tools as well.
