Monitoring USB usage/contents

New user to Kbox, was wondering if anyone is aware of a method of using the kbox to monitor USB/External Storage Usage, basically my company would like to allow users to use external storage but would also like to be able to monitor what is on the attached devices. Ideally if it could be done using the kbox agent then great, if not does anyone know of a third party lightweight app that i could deploy to all machines via the kbox to do this?

Is it feasable to have a scheduled task with USB device event triggers that forces an inventory whenever a USB device is plugged in? Not sure how to report on what is stored on the device though.

The KBOX agent will already inventory attached devices. The problem is that it only detects them during an inventory scan (which you probably have set to run every 2-4 hours or so). There is no way, that I know of, to use the KBOX agent to retain information about any/all removable devices outside the normal scan interval.

What kind of monitoring are you wanting specifically? Disk usage / Free space? File system? Have you found an app that does what you want, if so what is it?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
