for customization namely installation folder, product key, type installation, predefined outlook account, do i need to create MSP file using OCT or there is another file for the same.

I'm going to be doing the same thing. Looks like OCT is the best route to go

Hi, I'm a technical writer at Microsoft and have recently posted a draft copy of the article "Deploying the 2007 Office system by using System Center Configuration Manager" to the Office Resource Kit Blog located here: http://blogs.technet.com/office_resource_kit/archive/2009/01/16/deploying-the-2007-office-system-by-using-system-center-configuration-manager.aspx.

I would greatly appreciate your feedback regarding this article. Did you find it useful? Are there any additional changes/modification you would suggest?

Comments:
  • I would definitely give this a read, very clean for 2010 and should apply to 2007 as the install logic is still the same.

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
