Patch Error - Fail (80)

We just implemented the K1000 patching solution, which we have been testing with on ourselves before going live. Last night patches were installed, and the majority completed successfully. There was one device showing an error of "Fail (80)". I referenced the following article: https://support.quest.com/kb/111687/a-list-of-failed-error-codes-for-patching-detection-or-deployment-phase- and it shows the error as "error in patch deploy script". Is there somewhere I can go to diagnose this? I'm not sure what script it is referring to. I also see the updates in the temp folder on the PC that is showing the error.

Any insight is appreciated!

This is the most common (and least helpful) patch error code. It could be any number of things and sometimes resolves itself on the next patch run. If you have a specific device and/or patch that is failing consistently, isolate those patches and/or devices into their own patch schedule. Review the logs in C:\ProgramData\Quest\KACE (for Win) or /Library/Application Support/Quest/KACE/data (for Mac). You'll be interested in "KAgent.log" especially.

HOWEVER, since the patching system changed significantly in v10 I would suggest updating your box to that version THEN troubleshooting patches.
