Patching and Shortcuts
I hope someone can answer my question.
I've just created a patch for an application, which is supposed to add a couple of files, and update the target of a shortcut.
The patch builds fine and upon installation, it adds the new files, but does not change the shortcut at all.
Has anyone encountered something similar? Any luck resolving?

Instead of updating a shortcut (which are kinda special as they are MSI's advertised entry points) have you tried approaching it as adding a new shortcut and removing the previous shortcut?

No i have not tried that. Is it as simple as deleting the shortcut in say adminstudio, and the creating a fresh one? Or is there something special that i will need to do? I will look into this though. Thanks.
