Postinstallation task request for a quick login

The problem I'm having is this:
I'm running the rename and join domain task from this article @ http://www.kace.com/support/kb/index.php?action=artikel&cat=54&id=763&artlang=en and no matter what I put into the answer file or how I tweak the registry settings in the individual batch files for the task I ALWAYS need to go to the imaged computer and manually log in to complete the join to domain portion of task.
There has to be a way to have this completely automated, I need to use this in labs where I may not be able to go touch every workstation to finish the imaging process.
So can anyone help me automate that one last login? - camrevard 12 years ago-

Thank you, but when joining the domain it seems to reject the autologin registry method. I've tried it and I've tried mashing autologin info into my sysprep file.

Here's an idea, but I'm not sure if it would be viable and would require a K1000 (which I'm not sure you have). Figure out a way to script a remote login, leave a breadcrumb on the newly imaged target machine, create a smart label to reference that breadcrumb (i.e. needsfirstlogin) and have the script deployed to machines in that label. Again, this all depends on the possibility of creating a script that will allow you to remotely login (possibly via vbscript, using VNC, etc). I'll research a bit when I have time to see if this is viable, but an idea at least.

One last idea would be RDP, assuming it's possible to RDP into your clients. I would imagine this could be scripted and allow you to do a login.
