Smart Filter - Printers?

I see under a machine's inventory a section for printers - any way to make some smart labels to utilize this data? I find it very helpful the agent is able to query the printers installed and I'd like to take it one step further.

You would probably have to write your own custom sql statement and use that as a filter for a smart label. You can connect to the back end database and location the table in the db that has that information. Create a dummy smart label and replace the code with your custom sql.

FYI, Only locally installed printers show up and not networked print server queues.

If you're trying to find networked printers, i would write a script to find those.

You could have this script write to the registry or a text file and use a custom inventory rule to return the info.

To answer the priginal question; that data is accessible through a smart label SQL query, but not from the smart label creation wizard.
