Unable to change PIDKEY in visualstudio 2005
Hi,
I tried to install visual studio 2005 setup.exe.My requirement is to edit the PIDKEY.I added property in mst but it is not reflecting.I have given property through command prompt..." setup.exe /s /v"/q PIDKEY=XXXXXXXXXX" but it is not reflecting in the application.can anyone help me about this

As ever, turn on MSI logging. In the resulting log file (in %SystemRoot%\TEMP, named as 'MSI[random hex nbr].log) look near the top. There will be an entry detailing the command line used. See if it matches your input. If not, you're entering something wrong. Normally that's due to absence of quote marks in the correct place(s).
