Uninstalling applications using msiexec
I want to use msiexec to uninstall an application. The application is list in add remove programs and I have been using msiinv.exe to find the product code so that I can include it in my msiexec parameters. It seems to list every program except the one I need to uninstall (IBM System migration assist 4.0).
Is there another way to find the product code? Should I be using a different tool to remove this application?

The Product Code will be in the MSI so there should be no need to use another tool to find it.
Are you sure an MSI was used to install the application? I've recently re-packaged 3 IBM apps and none was in MSI format. My gambit would be to look in the registry for the string which appears in the ARP list, starting at the key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall. In the values which appear should be an item 'UninstallString'. My guess is that it'll be a call to an InstallShield executable with a plethora of command-line parameters.
