Upgrade table being ignored?
Working on Excel Viewer 2007, need to remove a reapckaged Excel viewer 2003. Have placed the following in the upgrade table:
SecureCustomProperties: (extra not related to ugrade removed);REMOLDVER
Upgrade Code: {00840000-6000-11D3-8CFE-0050048383C9}
VersionMin: 11.0.6412.0
VersionMax: 12.0
Language: NULL
Attributes: 256
Remove: NULL
ActionProperty: REMOLDVER
Any ideas? Running it with /l*v gives me no information on REMOLDVER till it lists the SecureProperties property.

Hi mupdike,
the problem here is, that xlview.msi lacks the 'FindRelatedProducts' and 'RemoveExistingProducts' actions in the 'InstallExecuteSequence' table.
Add it and your problem should be solved.

That was it, I think that's the only table I hadn't completely scrubbed trying to figure this out.
