VMware ESXi Inventory

Hi,
I'm a newbie on this forum and about this product, I'm testing in our lab environment trying to understand its capabilities.
Is it possible to have a detailed hardware inventory of our VMware vSphere 5.0 Environment with ESXi Hypervisor? I think the agent is needed to collect detailed informations but I'd like to be sure that I'm not wrong.
Thank you in advance.
Bye

At present, an agent would be required for this. There is no agent for ESXi systems.

I don't know much about vmware esxi, but if you could export the server spec details, you could import them into kace asset management tab as a new asset. We do this for phones that belong to the university.

As ms01ak suggested, you can create asset types and manually keep inventory of any and all data you want.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
