2) I have no file called by the name Rtlihvs.dll after installing the original WAN driver supplied by TOSHIBA.
3) My Wireless is working just fine! ....... Even so the file Rtlihvs.dll does not exist on my computer anywhere!
My personal working fix to get rig of the Event Log error message ........
Logically if the file is not on your computer and the Wireless is working just fine you should be able to remove the Registry Key entire which creates the error Event Log message!!
Thats what I did..............
Before you start to do anything create a Restore point just in case!
Go to Reg Key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0012\Ndi
Look for the Key name " IHVExtensions " & Delete the entire Key and all its sub value data within.
Clean your Event Log
Reboot your computer & check if the WAN error message is gone from the Administration Events Log.
My Error message is gone now & my Wireless works just fine after this Fix.
Rtlihvs.dll. .... Events Log Error Fixed!
